Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Infinix Note 12 G96 good for gaming?
The Infinix Note 12 G96 can handle casual and moderate gaming thanks to its MediaTek Helio G96 processor and 8GB of RAM. The Helio G96 is a 12nm chipset designed for mid-range 4G phones, so buyers should expect playable performance in many popular games rather than flagship-level graphics. Its 6.7-inch 1080 x 2400 display gives games plenty of screen space, although the 60Hz refresh rate means it will not feel as smooth as phones with 90Hz or 120Hz panels.
How long does the Infinix Note 12 G96 battery last?
The Infinix Note 12 G96 has a 5000mAh battery, which is a large capacity for a budget Android smartphone. Battery life will vary by brightness, gaming, mobile data use, and background apps, but the combination of a 60Hz display and efficient mid-range hardware is well suited to all-day use for many buyers. The large battery is especially useful for streaming, social media, messaging, and navigation without needing frequent top-ups.
Does the Infinix Note 12 G96 have a good display?
The Infinix Note 12 G96 has a large 6.7-inch display with a sharp 1080 x 2400 resolution, which is strong for watching videos, reading, and general smartphone use. The 60Hz refresh rate is conventional, so scrolling and animations may not look as fluid as on newer high-refresh-rate devices. For buyers prioritizing screen size and Full HD+ sharpness at a low price, the Infinix Note 12 G96 offers a practical display setup.
Will the Infinix Note 12 G96 receive Android 13 updates?
The provided information does not confirm whether the Infinix Note 12 G96 will receive an Android 13 update. The search context includes a user report saying their Infinix Note 12 G96 had not received updates since purchase, but that does not establish an official update policy. Buyers who care about long-term Android version upgrades should check Infinix’s regional support channels or the phone’s software update menu before purchasing.
