Frequently Asked Questions
How old is the Vivo Y12s?
The vivo Y12s 2021 was announced in May 2021, making it a 2021 budget Android smartphone. As of August 2026, the vivo Y12s 2021 is a little over five years old. Its hardware reflects that entry-level generation, with a Snapdragon 439 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, and a 60Hz HD+ display. The large 5000mAh battery remains its most practical specification for basic users.
When was the last update for the Vivo Y12s?
The provided information does not list the last software update date for the vivo Y12s 2021. The available search context states that the phone runs Android 11 with Funtouch OS 11 on top. Because no security patch date or later Android version is provided, buyers should verify the current update status directly in the phone’s Settings app or with vivo support for their region. Software update availability can vary by market, carrier, and device variant.
Does the Vivo Y12s support fast charging?
The provided vivo Y12s 2021 specifications do not list fast charging support. The confirmed battery specification is a large 5000mAh capacity, with search context noting AI power saving technology for longer daily use.
