Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Vivo Y15 a good phone?

The vivo Y15s is a good budget phone for basic everyday use, especially if battery life and a large screen matter more than high performance. It has a 6.51-inch 60Hz display with 720x1600 resolution, which is suitable for browsing, messaging, video streaming, and social apps. The MediaTek Helio P35 chipset with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is entry-level, so buyers should not expect heavy gaming or intensive multitasking performance.

What was the original price of the vivo Y15s?

The provided device data does not include a separate launch price, but it lists the vivo Y15s at about USD 128.95. The same pricing set also shows approximately EUR 120, GBP 103.27, and INR 10,766 for the vivo Y15s. This places the phone in the affordable entry-level segment, matching its Helio P35 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, and 5000mAh battery configuration.

How long does it take to fully charge the battery on a Vivo Y15?

The exact full charging time for the vivo Y15s cannot be confirmed from the provided specifications because the charging wattage is not listed. The phone has a large 5000mAh battery, so a full charge can take longer than smaller-capacity phones, especially with a basic charger. For the most accurate estimate, use the original vivo charger and check the charging information shown on the phone while it is plugged in.

How to update the vivo Y15s?

The vivo Y15s can be updated through the phone’s Android system update menu when an official update is available. Connect the device to Wi-Fi, make sure the battery is sufficiently charged, then open Settings and look for the system or software update section. If an update appears, download and install it, and keep the phone powered on during the process to avoid interrupting the Android update.
