Frequently Asked Questions
Which Huawei phones will no longer support WhatsApp?
Huawei phones that no longer meet WhatsApp’s minimum Android operating system requirements will lose WhatsApp support, rather than support ending for every Huawei model. The provided Huawei P40 4G specifications list it as an Android phone, so it is not identified here as a model that has lost WhatsApp compatibility. WhatsApp support is mainly affected by the installed Android version and whether the app can be obtained and updated reliably. Buyers considering the Huawei P40 4G should check current WhatsApp installation options through Huawei AppGallery, official WhatsApp downloads, or their local app availability.
Can Huawei P40 use Google?
The Huawei P40 4G runs Android, but it does not officially come with Google Mobile Services or the Google Play Store in Huawei’s standard software setup. This means popular Google apps such as Gmail, YouTube, Google Maps, and apps that depend on Google Play Services may not work the same way as on a typical Android phone. Huawei P40 4G users generally rely on Huawei AppGallery, browser-based Google services, or alternative app sources where available. If Google Play Store access is essential, this is one of the most important limitations to consider before buying the Huawei P40 4G.
