Frequently Asked Questions
Can you still use Huawei phones?
Huawei phones can still be used, but newer models may not offer the same Google app experience as Android phones with Google Mobile Services. The search context notes that existing Huawei devices can continue receiving Play Store and app security support where they already had it, while future Huawei phones are affected by the revoked license. On a device such as the Huawei P60 Art with HarmonyOS, buyers should expect to use Huawei’s ecosystem and check app availability before switching.
Is the Huawei P60 waterproof?
The Huawei P60 Pro is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance, according to the provided context. That rating means protection in fresh water up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes under test conditions, not unlimited waterproofing for swimming or salt water. For buyers comparing the Huawei P60 Art with other P60 models, it is best to verify the exact IP rating for the specific regional model before purchase.
Can Huawei P60 use Google?
The Huawei P60 series does not ship with Google Play Services pre-installed because of US trade restrictions on Huawei. The search context says users may be able to get the Play Store running through workarounds, but that is not as seamless as having Google services built in from the start. On the Huawei P60 Art with HarmonyOS, buyers should check whether their essential Google apps and banking, transport, or work apps function properly before relying on it as a daily phone.
