Frequently Asked Questions
Does the HONOR Magic V5 have a crease?
The HONOR Magic V5 is a foldable phone, so a crease may be visible on its 7.95-inch folding display, but the supplied specs do not confirm a crease measurement or a crease-free design. Foldable OLED-style displays commonly show some line or indentation where the screen bends, especially under direct light or at an angle. The practical impact usually depends on viewing angle, brightness, and how sensitive you are to the fold area during touch use. If crease visibility is a major concern, it is best to inspect the Honor Magic V5 in person before buying.
My Honor phone isn't charging. What can I do?
If your Honor phone is not charging, first check the charging cable, power adapter, wall outlet, and USB port for damage, looseness, or debris. Try another compatible charger and cable, restart the phone, and let it cool down if it feels unusually warm, because heat can interrupt charging behavior. For the Honor Magic V5, the large 5820mAh battery may also take time to show progress if it has fully drained. If charging still fails, use the official HONOR Support resources, user guide, or repair service listed for Magic V5 rather than attempting internal repairs.
Is the HONOR Magic V5 waterproof?
The provided HONOR Magic V5 specifications do not list an IP waterproof or water-resistance rating, so it should not be treated as waterproof. Without a verified IP rating in the available specs, avoid submerging the device or exposing the foldable hinge and ports to water, steam, or saltwater. Foldable phones have more mechanical parts than standard slab phones, which makes careful handling around liquids especially important. Check the official HONOR Magic V5 support page or user manual for any region-specific durability guidance before relying on water resistance.
