Frequently Asked Questions
How good is the Honor Play 40 display?
The Honor Play 40 has a 6.56-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 720x1612 resolution. The 90Hz panel should feel smoother than a standard 60Hz screen when scrolling, browsing, and using supported apps. Its HD+ resolution is practical for everyday use, though it is not as sharp as Full HD displays found on some higher-priced phones.
What processor does the Honor Play 40 use?
The Honor Play 40 is powered by the Qualcomm SM4350-AC Snapdragon 480+ 5G processor built on an 8 nm process. This chipset is designed for entry-level 5G smartphones and should handle common tasks such as messaging, browsing, video streaming, and social media. With 6GB of RAM, the Honor Play 40 has enough memory for typical daily multitasking in its price range.
How long does the Honor Play 40 battery last?
The Honor Play 40 includes a large 5200mAh battery, which is a strong capacity for a budget 5G smartphone. That size should be helpful for buyers who stream video, browse, use messaging apps, or rely on mobile data throughout the day. Actual battery life will vary based on screen brightness, 5G usage, apps, and signal strength.
How much storage does the Honor Play 40 have?
The Honor Play 40 comes with 128GB of internal storage. This capacity gives most users room for apps, photos, videos, downloads, and offline media without immediately running out of space. For a phone priced around EUR 180, GBP 153.77, INR 16190, or USD 195.28, 128GB is a useful amount of storage for everyday buyers.
