Frequently Asked Questions
Is the HMD Crest good for everyday performance?
The HMD Crest should handle everyday smartphone tasks well thanks to its Unisoc T760 6 nm processor and 6GB of RAM. This hardware is suited for messaging, web browsing, social media, video streaming, and switching between common Android apps. Buyers looking for a budget phone should see the 128GB storage as a useful advantage for apps, photos, downloads, and media files.
How good is the HMD Crest display?
The HMD Crest has a large 6.67-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080x2400 resolution. The 90Hz panel can make scrolling and supported animations feel smoother than a standard 60Hz screen. Its Full HD+ resolution is well matched to the screen size, making it suitable for watching videos, reading, browsing, and general app use.
How long does the HMD Crest battery last?
The HMD Crest comes with a 5000mAh battery, which is a large capacity for a budget Android smartphone. Battery life will vary depending on screen brightness, 90Hz display use, apps, mobile data, and gaming, but the capacity is well suited for full-day everyday use. The user guide also advises handling the device, battery, charger, and accessories with care to keep the phone operational.
Is the HMD Crest water-resistant?
The provided HMD Crest information does not list an official water-resistance or IP rating. HMD’s user guidance specifically says to keep the device dry, so buyers should avoid exposing the phone to rain, spills, or moisture. If water protection is a priority, it is best to use a protective case and treat the HMD Crest as a device that should be kept away from liquids.
