Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the ROG Phone discontinued?
The provided specs and search context do not confirm that the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate is discontinued. ASUS still has an official ROG Phone 7 Ultimate page referenced in the search context, and there is also a device FAQ source for support questions. Availability can vary by region, retailer stock, and product cycle, but no verified discontinuation reason is included here. If you are buying one, it is best to check ASUS or authorized retailers in your country for current stock and warranty status.
What is special about the ROG Phone?
The Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate is special because it is built around gaming-focused hardware and accessories rather than only standard flagship-phone features. It combines a 6.78-inch 165Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, and a 6000mAh battery for demanding mobile games. The AeroActive Cooler module adds cooling, improved audio, four physical triggers, and lighting effects, giving the device features that regular Android phones usually lack. This makes the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate especially appealing to users who prioritize performance, thermal control, and game controls.
Does the ASUS ROG phone have a SD card slot?
The Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate does not have a microSD card slot for expandable storage. Its storage is fixed at 512GB, so buyers should choose the device knowing they cannot add an SD card later. For gaming, video capture, and large app libraries, the built-in 512GB capacity is the main storage available on this model. Cloud storage or external transfer methods are the practical alternatives if you need more space.
