Frequently Asked Questions

Is Honor X8 worth buying?

The Honor X8 5G is worth considering if you want an affordable 5G phone with a large battery and generous storage. It includes a 6.5-inch 90Hz display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ 5G chipset, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage at around EUR 170 or USD 184.19. Its 5000mAh battery is a strong point, but the 720x1600 resolution is less sharp than many Full HD phones. Buyers comparing it with the non-5G Honor X8 should note that search context lists NFC and an external memory slot as advantages of the non-5G model.

How to activate 5G on Honor?

You can activate 5G on the Honor X8 5G by enabling a 5G-capable preferred network mode in the Android mobile network settings. Open Settings, go to Mobile network or SIM settings, select the active SIM, and choose a mode such as 5G/4G/3G/2G auto if it is available. The Honor X8 5G has a Snapdragon 480+ 5G chipset, but 5G will only appear when your SIM plan, carrier, and location support 5G coverage. If the 5G option is missing, check that your carrier has provisioned 5G service for the SIM and that the phone software is up to date.

Is honor 8X 5G ready?

The Honor X8 5G is 5G-ready because it uses the Qualcomm SM4350-AC Snapdragon 480+ 5G chipset. This device is specifically listed as the Honor X8 5G and supports 5G network use when paired with a compatible carrier plan and 5G coverage. Its 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and 5000mAh battery make it a budget-focused 5G option. The provided specifications do not confirm 5G support for a separate older device named Honor 8X, so the model name should be checked carefully before buying.

What type of charger does the Honor X8 use?

The provided Honor X8 5G specifications do not state the charger connector type or charging wattage. The available specs confirm a 5000mAh battery, but they do not list whether the phone ships with a charger or what fast-charging standard it uses. For an accurate purchase decision, check the official retail box contents, local Honor product page, or user manual for the exact charger requirement. Avoid assuming compatibility from the Honor X8 name alone, because the Honor X8 and Honor X8 5G are different models with different hardware details.
