Pros and Cons

Final Verdict

The Tecno Spark 50s is the much easier phone to recommend here. Its biggest advantage is not just one spec, but the gap across the basics: a larger 120Hz display, far more RAM, and a bigger battery. In daily use, that should translate into smoother scrolling, better multitasking, and less frustration when switching between apps compared with the itel P36’s very limited 1GB RAM.

The itel P36 only really makes sense if the priority is getting the cheapest possible phone for calls, messaging, and very light app use. Its 5000mAh battery is respectable, but the 60Hz screen and low memory make it feel like a much older, more restrictive device.

If you can stretch to the Tecno Spark 50s, it is the more practical buy by a wide margin. The itel P36 is a basic backup phone; the Spark 50s is the one that feels more usable as a main device.
