Compare Mobile Phones Side-by-Side

The Tecno Spark 50s is the far more practical phone here. Its larger 120Hz display will feel noticeably smoother and better suited to browsing, video, and everyday scrolling, while the 6GB of RAM gives it much more breathing room than the Gionee F8 Neo’s 2GB. The battery gap is just as important: 6500mAh versus 3000mAh is not a small difference, and it should make the Tecno much easier to live with if you use your phone heavily.

The Gionee F8 Neo only really makes sense if you specifically want a small, basic phone and do not care about multitasking, screen smoothness, or long battery life. Its 5.4-inch display may appeal to someone who dislikes big phones, but the rest of the spec sheet feels very limited by today’s standards.

For most buyers, the Spark 50s is the sensible pick by a wide margin.
