The Delight and Fun category include apps and games that provide enjoyable, memorable and engaging experiences.

The app that won under this category is Grug by Ocho (Netherlands). Grug stands out for its playful approach and simple yet engaging user experience. This fun app shares simple daily wisdom through playful messages. Each prompt gives users a small moment to pause and reflect.

On the gaming side, Is This Seat Taken? developed by Poti Poti Studio (Spain) secured the award for its clever gameplay and charming design. This cartoon-style game provides entertaining scenarios to help players navigate the quirkiness of public transit. It features playful interactive elements that encourage users to relax and enjoy the journey one seat at a time.

2. Innovation

The Innovation category recognizes apps and games that introduce new ideas and use technology in creative ways.

This year’s winning app is NBA: Live Games and Scores by NBA Media Ventures, LLC (United States). This app is basically designed for basketball fans to give them a fun and interactive way to follow the game.
