Final Verdict
The vivo Y600 Turbo looks like the more serious phone here. Both devices give you a big 120Hz screen, so the basic browsing and scrolling experience should feel similarly smooth, but the vivo has the more important advantages: double the RAM and a much larger 9020mAh battery. That matters more day to day than the Redmi’s tiny display-size edge.
The Redmi 17C still makes sense if pricing is the main reason you’re considering it, especially if your use is light — calls, messaging, social apps, video streaming. But 4GB of RAM feels limiting compared with the vivo’s 8GB, and the 5160mAh battery, while decent, is nowhere near as reassuring for heavy use.
If the price gap is not huge, I’d pick the vivo Y600 Turbo without much hesitation. It should age better, handle multitasking more comfortably, and last much longer between charges.
