Compare Mobile Phones Side-by-Side

The Realme C100i has the clearer advantage here: its 7000mAh battery is the one spec that meaningfully changes day-to-day use. If you want a phone that can stretch longer between charges, especially for video, messaging, navigation, or hotspot use, the Realme simply makes more sense.

The Redmi 17C is not outclassed everywhere. Its 6.88-inch 120Hz display is slightly larger, and the MediaTek processor may feel like the safer bet if you are wary of entry-level Unisoc chips. But with the same 4GB of RAM and a very similar high-refresh display, it does not separate itself enough to offset the Realme’s much bigger battery.

For most buyers in this segment, battery life matters more than tiny screen-size differences. Unless the Redmi 17C is noticeably cheaper or you specifically prefer Xiaomi’s software, the Realme C100i looks like the more practical pick.
